Fall trends 2012 / Color palette 1: Mustard yellow, cognac and caramel

Hello hallo wonderful woman,

Here we are again on doitwithyourstyle. Summer is over so time to welcome Fall!

Today I am going to introduce you to the Fall color palette 1 with mustard yellow, cognac and caramel tones:

60's patterns
So stylish!
Yeah

From a 2008 collection: I like it! You too?

Now some makeup for Fall:

Earth tones are so, how to put it, so warm, intense and close to nature! And no better season than Fall to present them.

Next time I'll introduce you to the Fall color palette 2 with red tones. Bye for now. This Fashion postcard is for you. ;0)

Don't forget: No matter what you do, do it with style. With YOUR style. Stay tuned.

Fall Time

Hello hallo wonderful woman,

Nice having you here on doitwithyourstyle. How was your Summer? Mine was good but it could have been better if the weather had cooperated... I was in Paris for a couple of days to bring you something fresh and trendy but unfortunately I got a little disappointed with the Fashion metropolis and didn't bring much.  Oh well, it doesn't matter. Here I am again and totally excited about Fall!

German Summer 2012 was definitely not the best we've had so far

It is incredibly beautiful how Nature "dresses itself": the colors it chooses are always perfect. :0)

Although Fall has its own color palette we, wonderful women, should be careful when choosing colors for Fall once we have different traits. For example: mustard yellow is one of the color trends for this Fall/Winter season but in my opinion it doesn't look so flattering for blondes no matter what the color specialists may say. At least not as the dominant color in an outfit.

Next time I'll give you some great tips on having a fabulous Fall look. Stay tuned.

Enjoying some style in Paris

Hello hallo wonderful woman,

Nice having you here again on doitwithyourstyle. Sorry for taking a bit long to post again but I was away and phew, only now I could find the time to present you my very best of Paris 2012.

I've been 14 times in Paris and it is always a pleasure to be in that glamorous city, oh-là-là. I was lucky enough to have had the opportunity to learn French there a couple of years ago. Unfortunately since I've lived in Germany I must acknowledge that my French needs a lot of brush-up, snif...

Photo with the Eiffel Tower in the background: mandatory! ;0)

I've got a  bit disappointed with the French fashion this time so I'll show you here very little about it and more about some Parisian attractions and French products. Let me highlight here that I wasn't excited about the French Spring/Summer collections at that time but I'm excited though with the Autumn/Winter collections.

Here are some links of the best French fashion brands:

Uh-huh: my style. Oh, by the way, it's nearly IMPOSSIBLE to wear high heels in Paris. GRRRRR!

Yeah, all of them!

My style too. :0)

Café Séraphin in the Quartier Latin: isn't it stylish and cozy at the same time?

You can rent a bike: not my style, but a cool idea
Pont des Arts for lovers: If you want your love to last forever put your names on a padlock, lock it on the rail  and throw the key down the river Seine. My hubby Helmut and I did!

Moulin Rouge: Just trying to do some cancan. :0) PS: Where my high heels were? Try then to explore Paris walking on high heels 10-12 hours a day, 3 days in a row... Good luck. :0)

Peugeot on Avenue des Champs-Élysées

At Peugeot Avenue: I love car expositions

At AMG Performance Gallery on Champs-Élysées: Their fashion stuff is not bad at all!

I like the suitcases

For men who want to smell like a Mercedes owner! ;0)

That's a bit too much... Mercedes-Benz red nail polish? :0/

Oui, oui, L'Arc de Triomphe

Café George V on Champs-Élysées: My favorite café in Paris

You can rent a Ferrari for 20 minutes

Or a Lamborghini

A good substitute for the Brazilian blowout: nice French product.

Le parfum La petite robe noire bought at the exclusive Guerlain store on Champs-Élysées: THIS is style and I don't sell their bag for anything in this world! :0)

Great outlet near Paris: La Vallée Village. It was time to go back home.

Hope I'm luckier next time and get excited again about French fashion.  Meanwhile don't forget: No matter what you do, do it with style. YOUR style. Stay tuned.

Au revoir. Bisous,
