Color Series, Part XI: Style in Green

Hello wonderful woman,


Nice to have you here on doitwithyourstyle. Last time was WHITE time. Now it's time for a lively color usually associated with nature and health: GREEN.

I'm crazy for bonsai trees!

I hardly ever wear GREEN but I do like it a little blueish or grayish and its mint tone (pastel).

GREEN food and drinks reminds me of "well, it may not be tasty but definitely healthy and low-calorie". :0)

Unless you want to look like an alien, or better said, like a Martian inhabitant, I wouldn't recommend GREEN nail polishers, lipsticks or hair dye. Well, if you are a teenie, a "hardcore" Greenpeace activist, for instance, a friend of all reptiles, then enjoy it... :0) GREEN makeup for the eyes looks really good specially on a brunette or a black woman. For the blondies with light eyes I would recommend the mint tone with a gray or light blue eyeshadow though.

Color Series, Part X: Style in White

Hello beautiful woman,

Welcome to doitwithyourstyle. Last time was ORANGE time. Now it’s time for a “color that is not a color”: WHITE. By definition WHITE is free from color and at the same time manifests all colors. Too complicated, huh? Whatever…

I love WHITE and no, this definitely doesn’t mean I’m a saint and only have pure thoughts.  :0) IIt has a magical, purifying and calming effect over me and it is also a color that has the power to make some things look very sophisticated or so “handle me with care”…

Wasn't this special edition of Coke worth it a picture during the Fashion Week in Berlin?

Wouldn't you take it in your arms with care and cuddle with it for hours?

Zen moment: Only 3 minutes looking at a white rose is enough to relax me and make me feel  so pure...

To be quite sincere, ORANGE is not one of my favorite colors but I do like its "rosy" version: coral. It also puts me in a good mood!

Color Series, Part VIII: Style in Gray/Silver

Hello wonderful woman,

Here we are again on doitwithyourstyle. Last time was PINK time. Now it’s time for a color that may be seen as neutral and “cold” but looks definitely elegant and sophisticated: GRAY/SILVER.

GRAY/SILVER is one of my favorite colors. I usually wear GRAY outfits when I feel myself “Athena”, i.e., when I feel like a career woman and want people to see my professional and serious side, but it is no rule. It is also a good color for high-tech devices or luxurious goods, don’t you think?
