A bit about Greek goddesses. Part III: Athena/Minerva

Hello wonderful woman,

Nice to have you here again on doitwithyourstyle. Last time I introduced you to one of the most powerful goddesses on Olympus, Hera. Now it’s time to get to know Zeus*’s favorite daughter, Athena, his “daddy’s girl”.

*Zeus was the supreme ruler of the Olympus.

Athena in Greek Mythology and Minerva in Roman Mythology, the goddess of wisdom and strategies

It’s all about you, independent and working woman, more ruled by logic than by feelings. You can apply Athena’s power by wearing tailored suits and shirts, straight pants, more neutral colors (black too, of course), practical makeup, medium to large-sized handbags, and elegant shoes. A colored silk scarf can always add some charm and femininity to your outfit, and golden or silver jewelry can make you shine!  Pearls are always very elegant too. As Athena was sometimes depicted with an owl, why not wearing some jewelry with this wise bird to show your divinity?

With these items you can apply Athena’s power to your style:

Silk scarves with graphics
Black tailored suit
Do you dare? Then red suit!

Belted dresses in sleek fabrics
Scarpins
Black and white flat shoes
Kelly bag
Elegant watch
Chain with owl
Pearl necklace

Bob hairstyle
Tied up hair
Basic makeup but don't forget the mascara!

Next time I’ll introduce you to the nature goddess Artemis. Stay tuned and don’t forget: No matter what you do, do it with style. YOUR style.

    1. Hello Susie, welcome to my blog. We have something in common: Athena as our favorite Greek goddess. I see us, women, as goddesses and that's why I dedicated 5 articles to this subject, so enjoy your divinity! ;0)
