Hello wonderful woman,
Here we are again on doitwithyourstyle. As I wrote in my first post, aware or not, we all have developed our style over the years but if you want to look even better or just have a brand new look, you must start from the right beginning: from deep inside of you. I’ll tell you what I see right now: a goddess awakening!
Yeah, it’s time now for a look inside the woman psyche, so let me take you on a short trip to ancient Greece…
In Greek Mythology we are introduced to some important goddesses and their particular traits which made them divine and at the same time so human, so WOMEN. In her book “Goddesses in every woman” from the Jungian analyst Jean Shinoda Bolen (http://www.jeanbolen.com/home.html) we learn from their archetypes and can relate to one or more of them during our lifetime und why? Because we are simply divine!
I particularly like to divide these feminine archetypes in 5 and I’m sure you will identify yourself with one or more of them. Let’s start with:
Aphrodite in Greek Mythology and Venus in Roman Mythology, the goddess of love and beauty
It’s all about you, sensual woman, a great lover and seducer. Oh, you don’t feel like Aphrodite? No problem. You can develop her traits if you want. Applying Aphrodite’s power in your style, you may opt for sexy and very feminine sleek clothes, small purses, extravagant accessories, glamorous hairstyle and makeup, and of course not forgetting high heels!
The combination of the following items will definitely bring the goddess of love and sensuality to your life!
Animal printed scarves |
V-neck tops |

Bootcut pants |

Draped dress |
High heeled boots |
High heeled sandals |

Necklaces that hang on the cleavage |
Clutch bags |
Smokey eyes and well-shaped brows |
Long layered straight hair |
Long wavy hair |
Long nails |
Next time I’ll introduce you to another goddess: Hera. Stay tuned and always remember: No matter what you do, do it with style. YOUR style.
Your Style Coach,
Aline Lermer
