What is Style Coaching? What does a Style Coach do?

Hello wonderful woman,

I've introduced you to the Greek goddesses and to the 5 basic styles in my previous posts, and I hope you liked them. So, have you identified your style or found the one you want to develop? Not yet? That's ok. Maybe it is a case for a Style Coach! :0)

What is Style Coaching? First I'm telling you what it's NOT. According to the Style Coaching Institute England, Style Coaching is NOT JUST about the clothes you wear and the image you present to people around you. Its aim is that we become effortlessly stylish and comfortable in our own skin, i.e., looking good and feeling great inside and out. It's about YOU and can be an invaluable part of your self-development journey. My very personal description of Style Coaching is: It's all about finding the perfect combination of what matches/suits a client according to their body, skin and hair types. It's not only about what matches what but what matches YOU.

What does a Style Coach do? What is his/her role? According to the Style Coaching Institute England, a Style Coach is someone trained to practice the unique combination of the skills of a Personal Stylist, Image Consultant and Life Coach. He/She helps their clients to achieve the look they want and a new confidence. My own definition of a Style Coach is: the qualified "fairy" who can help you look and feel your very best. :0) He/She (unfortunately) does not possess a magic wand but he/she will always cheer you up and be ready to help you keeping track of your goals. There's nothing more rewarding for a Style Coach than YOUR success!

Next time I'll start a series about Colors and how they can be used to enhance your own beauty and personality. Don't miss it and never forget: No matter what you do, do it with style. YOUR style. Stay tuned.

Your Style Coach,

Aline Lermer
